Galvanic treatment is a very successful skin care treatment. It’s extremely popular due to the excellent results shown on TV. Unsurpassed Anti-Aging Results with immediate cummulative results. After receiving a Galvanic Facial Treatment the energy effects will still be working on the skin for an additional 2 days post treatment, making any products applied to skin work 10 times better and deeper in the dermis layers of the skin for an addtional 2 days.

This facial treatment is often applied by using metal probe sliding over the skin with a specialized serums or ampules. The serum or lotion has two purposes:

Cleansing Step or Desincrustation:

Nutrition Step or Iontophoresis

What Is Electroporation?
Electroporation is a method of creating temporary pores in the skin by the application of a gentle electric charge. These channels allow skin care ingredients to penetrate the skin 100 to 10,000 times more effectively that just dabbing a cream on top of untreated skin. Different kinds of products, however, use different techniques of electroporation.


The Two Approaches to Galvanic Skin Care
The two processes of empowering the active ingredients of skin care products to reach deep in the skin (about 10 mm, or 4/10 of an inch) are:
Electroosmosis, which increases the rate at which water flows through the skin, and
Iontophoresis, a process of gently shocking skin pores to make them wider and more receptive to skin care products.
There is actually very little moisture even in the best-moisturized skin. Most of the outer layer of skin consists of a thick wall of protein-filled cells known as corneocytes. In between the corneocytes there is a mixture of about 50 per cent ceramides (the same chemicals you will see listed on the label for moisturizers), 25 per cent cholesterol (the same cholesterol that is in your arteries, only this time as a water-repellant), and 25 per cent water.
There just is not a lot of water in healthy skin. If water flow is stimulated, however, water-soluble ingredients are carried deeper into the skin. Many skin care ingredients are not water-soluble.

To increase the absorption of "lipophilic" ingredients, iontophoresis gives the pores a gentle shock. They open just a little, and become temporarily more permeable to fat-soluble ingredients. A tiny current, less than enough to power a penlight, is enough to help vastly more of these ingredients get into the skin to do their work.

Nu Brilliance is an at home microdermabrasion solution that allows you to perform microdermabrasion at home without visiting a skin care professional. The cost of the machine is about $300, depending on where you purchase it from. If you perform one microdermabrasion treatment per month, and the machine had a lifespan of 3 years, you would be paying $8 per treatment. This does not take consideration consumables, i.e. after a several uses you will need to replace the heads which will add a few more dollars. Given that professional treatments costs upwards of $50-$100, the product seems to have some merit. Additional heads are $14.95 and they need to be replaced roughly every 10 treatments. Please factor this into the total cost. Nu Brilliance claims the product will give you rejuvenated skin. The system was developed by Wellquest International. The product contains a dual-action system that features diamond peel exfoliation and vacuum system similar to professional strength machines. When we received our product we were impressed with the packaging and literature but after evaluating Nu Brilliance we found the results quite good. It created a similar effect to what you would expect from a professional treatment. We read some negative reviews from women who claimed the product significantly damaged their skin. Our warning is that it is  comparable to a medical procedure and as such carries some risks, particularly for those with sensitive skin. If you have an adverse reaction, you should discontinue using the machine immediately. We would expect that the manufacturer would provide a refund in these circumstances and judging by the mixed comments it seems as though they do consider offering a refund in some but not all cases.
